I am deeply saddend by the death of my friend and school mate. Ron and I, and both of his cousins spent many days on Overton Road doing what kids do. I was always welcomed in his home, and his family and siblings treated me like another member of the family. I feel a deep loss but have such wonderful memories of the times we had together in sports at County High, socially, and in many settings in and after H/S “if you got my drift”.

I send my deepest sympathy to Rita, your children and grandchildren and all of us who will be impacted so much by Ron’s passing.
He may be physically gone but he remains active and here in my heart and memories.

Peace to you my friend, Ron. You have left us all better people because of who you were. I will miss you very much. Cuz Eddie.
